JPP says support of 150 thousand euros to earthquake victims in Venezuela only moved forward after report

JPP considers that the announcement of the advancement of the 150 thousand euros destined to support the victims of the earthquakes in Venezuela comes after the party warned that the funds, announced by the Regional Government almost two months ago, had not yet reached the institutions that support on the ground the affected Madeiran community. In a statement, the party recalls that, in July, the Regional Government, led by Miguel Albuquerque, announced the availability of the support as a measure of solidarity for the victims of the earthquakes in that country. JPP argues that only after its public report did the process actually move forward, given that the institutions on the ground had not received any amount almost two months after the announcement. The party emphasizes that humanitarian aid should have reached the communities that needed support more quickly.
