The mystery surrounding the death of Belgian tourist Céline Cremer, 31, has finally been clarified. Her remains were found in December last year, two and a half years after her disappearance during a walk in the Tasmania rainforest in Australia. Forensic pathologist Madeleine Wilson reported that she likely died between June 17 and 21, 2023, with the death being classified as accidental. Céline was last seen near Cradle Mountain on June 17, 2023, and her disappearance was reported nine days later. After her car was located at the beginning of a trail, search and rescue teams spent two weeks searching for her, but the dangerous conditions caused by cold and bad weather hindered the searches. The case generated significant media attention in Australia and Europe.
