A couple was arrested in Greensburg, Kansas, in the United States, after their infant son suffered a skull fracture and tested positive for cocaine and marijuana. The case occurred in July but was reported by the CBS television channel on Thursday.

The suspects are Danielle Kowalski, 25, and Steven Kopetsky, 32. The couple is accused of endangering the child and of drug-related crimes. Additionally, the father faces charges for evidence tampering.

According to police, officers were called around 11 PM on July 8 to check on the well-being of a baby at an apartment on College Avenue. Upon arriving, the child's mother reported that she had returned from work and found her son crying on the floor.
