Serbia prepares state funeral for Ratko Mladic, the 'butcher of Bosnia' convicted of genocide

Serbia is preparing a state funeral for Ratko Mladic, the former military commander of the Bosnian Serbs. The Serbian Ministry of Justice confirmed that the general will receive all the military and state honors to which he is entitled.

Mladic was known as the "butcher of Bosnia" and was serving a life sentence in The Hague, where he was convicted of genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.
