The Municipality of Boticas, in collaboration with the Agro Rural Cooperative, delivered eight tons of feed to cattle producers affected by fires that recently devastated the municipality. This initiative aims to support farmers who saw their pastures destroyed by the flames.
The fires caused significant damage in the Parish Union of Ardãos and Bobadela, destroying a considerable part of the pastures used for cattle feed. The loss of these grazing areas put producers in a difficult situation to ensure the feeding of their animals.
The delivery of eight tons of feed represents a joint effort between the municipality and the Agro Rural Cooperative to mitigate the effects of fires on local agricultural activity. This aid comes as an immediate response to the needs of the region's producers, who face difficulties in sustaining their livestock.
