Commercial flights in the European Union reached in 2025 levels close to those recorded before the COVID-19 pandemic. This recovery represents a significant resurgence in the aviation sector after the years of restrictions and impacts caused by the health crisis.

Data released by Eurostat reveals a 3.8% increase in the number of commercial flights compared to 2024. This growth demonstrates the continuous recovery trend of European air traffic over the past years.
