Benfica faces Italian side AC Milan in league phase

Benfica will face the Italians from AC Milan in the league phase of the 2026/27 edition of the Europa League in football, according to the draw held today in Nyon, Switzerland. This is one of the opponents the red-and-whites will face away from home.

This is Benfica's debut in the league phase of the Europa League. Players Ruben Amorim and Gonçalo Ramos are part of the Portuguese team in this competition.

At home, Benfica will play against AZ Alkmaar from the Netherlands, Celtic from Scotland, Lech Poznan from Poland and Ofi Crete from Greece. Away, apart from AC Milan, the opponents are Viktoria Plzen from the Czech Republic, Omonia from Cyprus and NEC from the Netherlands.

The league phase of the Europa League takes place on September 16 and 17.
