84% of Portuguese professionals already use AI at work, above Spain, France and Germany

Artificial intelligence is being rapidly adopted by Portuguese professionals in their daily work. According to a study by technology company Cegid, 84% of professionals in Portugal already use AI tools at work, a number that surpasses those of Spain, France and Germany.

This growth represents an increase of 19 percentage points in just one year, showing a significant acceleration in technology adoption. However, despite this accelerated pace of individual use, the integration of AI in organizational processes is still far from being completed.

Only 6% of surveyed professionals consider that the technology is fully integrated in the organization where they work. This suggests that, although workers are adopting AI on their own initiative, companies have not kept up with this pace in implementing structured processes.
