The Generalitat Valenciana allocated 41,000 euros to the municipality of Benicàssim to carry out interventions aimed at combating heat in local schools. This measure comes in response to the high temperatures that educational centers face during a large part of the school year.
The beneficiaries of this funding are the secondary school and two primary schools: Santa Águeda School and Palmerar School. These schools thus receive support to implement cooling systems.
However, the measure is described as limited, representing only an initial response to a problem that regularly affects the region's educational establishments during the hottest months. The investment of 41,000 euros will be divided among the three educational centers included.
