We may claim that there is actually already artificial intelligence being used in Ukrainian drones, announces Bernardo Valente

Bernardo Valente, a specialist on the matter, announced that it is now possible to claim the existence of artificial intelligence being used in Ukrainian drones. This statement was made on the NOW program, where the specialist shared his analysis on the current state of military technology applied in the conflict.

The specialist also warned about the scarcity of interceptors on the Ukrainian side as a significant problem. According to him, this lack of interception capability makes it extremely difficult to stop Russian ballistic missiles that are launched against Ukraine.

The use of artificial intelligence in drones represents a technological evolution in the context of the conflict, potentially allowing greater autonomy and effectiveness of these unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in military operations.

Google earthquake alerts now work in Portugal: see how to activate and learn about the alternative for iPhone

Google has activated the Earthquake Alert System in Portugal for Android devices, which uses smartphone sensors to detect earthquakes of magnitude 4.5 or higher and send alerts to users in potentially affected areas. The feature, which was announced in 2020 and arrived on Android in 2021, is available in 98 countries and has already detected more than 18 thousand earthquakes worldwide. Portuguese users can activate the service in their phone settings, under "Safety and emergency." iPhone users, on the other hand, do not have an equivalent integrated feature, so the recommended alternative is the official application of the Portuguese Institute of the Sea and the Atmosphere (IPMA), although this does not function as an early warning alert. Portugal currently does not have a national earthquake early warning system.
