The Municipality of Oliveira do Bairro celebrated yesterday, August 26, the 23rd anniversary of the elevation of the town to city. This celebration marks another year since the locality received city status, which occurred in 2001.

The festivities were organized by the municipality of Oliveira do Bairro, which prepared a program to commemorate this special date for the municipality and its residents.

The anniversary represents an important milestone in the history of the city, celebrating two and a half decades of development since it ceased being a town to acquire the title of city.
