51-year-old man arrested by PSP to serve prison sentence in Sintra

A 51-year-old man was arrested by the PSP in Algueirão-Mem Martins, Sintra, to serve an effective prison sentence of one year and eight months, after being convicted of the crime of drug trafficking. The arrest was carried out during a patrol action by the Sintra Police Division, and the detainee was taken to serve the judicially determined sentence.
Um homem de 51 anos foi detido pela PSP, em Algueirão-Mem Martins, Sintra, para cumprimento de uma pena de prisão efetiva de um ano e oito meses pelo crime de tráfico de estupefacientes.
A detenção foi realizada por agentes da Divisão Policial de Sintra, do Comando Metropolitano de Lisboa da PSP, durante uma ação de patrulhamento na freguesia.
Segundo a PSP, os agentes abordaram e detiveram o homem, sobre o qual pendia um mandado de detenção para cumprimento de uma pena de prisão efetiva de um ano e oito meses, na sequência da sua condenação pela prática do crime de tráfico de estupefacientes.
O detido foi conduzido pelas autoridades para cumprimento da pena determinada judicialmente.
