The musical "Evita", one of the most well-known works of world musical theater, arrives in Sintra for two nights of performance, with Sofia Escobar and Diogo Morgado in the main cast. The production, based on the life of Eva Perón, promises to be one of the cultural highlights of the region.

Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, known as the "Queen of Polka Dots," died at 97 in Tokyo. Miss Brasil Supranational 2026 loses title after announcing pregnancy

Lara Marina Soares Tosta, 19 years old, Miss Brasil Supranational 2026, lost her title after announcing she is pregnant. A native of Afonso Cláudio, in Espírito Santo, she won the national title in February, in Pernambuco, and later placed third in Miss Supranational 2026, held in Poland. The National Beauty Contest (CNB) had communicated the loss of the title without specifying the reasons, but hours later Lara Marina published a video confirming the pregnancy and thanked fans for their support. The contest organization stated that there was a breach of contractual obligations incompatible with maintaining the title.
