Former partner of Claudia Ohana and Leila Diniz, director Ruy Guerra celebrates 95 years in cinema in Rio

Director Ruy Guerra, a living legend of Brazilian cinema born in Mozambique, celebrated his 95th birthday surrounded by friends and fans at Estação Botafogo, in Rio de Janeiro. Trained in Paris, he is known for iconic films such as "The Guns" and "The Hustlers," responsible for the first frontal nudity in Brazilian cinema in 1962, starring Norma Bengell. The filmmaker also became famous for his romantic conquests, having been married to Nara Leão and Leila Diniz, with whom he had daughter Janaína, as well as being father to Dandara Guerra, daughter from his relationship with actress Claudia Ohana.
