Nepal: "What happened was the detachment of a glacier due to climate change"

Major-General Isidro de Morais Pereira analyzed on the NOW program the natural catastrophe on the border between Nepal and Tibet, explaining that the phenomenon was caused by the detachment of a glacier, due to climate change. The impact caused a seismic tremor of magnitude 5.2, resulting in a devastating scenario with hundreds of dead and about 1500 missing people, which the Portuguese military officer classified as "overwhelming."
