Portuguese authorities do not rule out the possibility of more Portuguese nationals being missing following a tragedy in Nepal, according to Emídio Sousa in statements to RTP. The official mentioned there are difficulties in contacting the affected Portuguese citizens and made an appeal for all travelers to register on the Traveler Portal, available on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, in order to facilitate communication and assistance procedures in emergency situations.
