Olhão, Portimão and Vila Real de Santo António join competition for 77 homes

Three Algarve municipalities — Olhão, Portimão, and Vila Real de Santo António — are among the 19 municipalities covered by nine calls for applications opened by the Institute for Housing and Urban Rehabilitation (IHRU) to allocate 77 housing units under affordable rental terms, as part of the Rental Support Program. Applications, open to individuals and family groups, run until September 17 and require prior registration on the Housing Portal platform, followed by submission through the IHRU Arrenda Platform.

Tribunal suspends public session of Mercado do Bolhão

The Administrative and Tax Court of Porto suspended the public auction of the Bolhão Market in Porto after a precautionary measure was filed at the end of July against the municipality. Pedro Duarte, president of the Porto City Council, assured that this is a "normal procedure" within the scope of this type of process.
