The 14th edition of the Famalicão Photographic Marathon will take place on September 26, 2026, challenging amateur and professional photographers to walk through the city capturing images for eight different themes throughout the day. Promoted by the Caixa de Imagens Association (ACI), the initiative aims to stimulate creativity and the love for photography.

Director Ruy Guerra, living legend of Brazilian cinema born in Mozambique, celebrated his 95th birthday surrounded by friends and fans at Estação Botafogo, in Rio de Janeiro. Trained in Paris, he is known for iconic films like "Os Fuzis" and "Os Cafajestes," responsible for the first frontal nudity in Brazilian cinema in 1962, starring Norma Bengell. The filmmaker also became famous for his romantic conquests, having been married to Nara Leão and Leila Diniz, with whom he had daughter Janaína, as well as being father of Dandara Guerra, daughter from his relationship with actress Claudia Ohana.
