Tourist tax money funds new garbage collection vehicle in Calheta

The Municipal Council of Calheta invested 140 thousand euros, from the tourist tax, in the purchase of a new vehicle for the solid waste collection service. With this acquisition, the council now has ten operational vehicles and already has an 11th vehicle purchased awaiting delivery.
