A fire broke out in the early afternoon in Devesa del Saler, in Valencia, forcing the evacuation of the town of Saler and its campsites, as well as the closure of the CV-500 road and the emptying of a residential tower. The evolution of the wind in the last few hours worsened the situation and caused a change in the direction of the flames.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM on Tuesday on a nightlife street, leaving 16 injured, two in serious condition, including two GNR military officers.
