Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remains in preventive detention

The Albufeira Court applied the preventive detention measure to the driver of the hit-and-run accident that on Monday morning caused one death and two injured on Pacific Street, in Albufeira. The man was arrested by the PSP hours after the accident and was placed in preventive detention after his first judicial hearing.

Girl seriously injured after fall from second floor

A female child was seriously injured after falling from the second floor of a building. The girl suffered serious fractures to the pelvic girdle and pelvis, having been transported to the Hospital das Caldas da Rainha to receive medical treatment. Spanish police officer on vacation victim of knife robbery

A Spanish police officer who was on vacation was the victim of a stabbing robbery in [data unknown]. Two men approached the victim near a commercial area, where they stole his police badge, money and a watch.
