"In 15 minutes, the water destroyed everything". Nepalese describe "unprecedented" catastrophe

Hundreds of people are missing in Nepal, including two Portuguese nationals, after a mudslide devastated the border region with China. Rescue teams are trying to reach the affected areas of this "unprecedented" catastrophe, in which Nepalis describe that "in 15 minutes, the water destroyed everything." The provisional toll indicates at least 300 dead.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation.
