The Adventures of Quitapena brings animation, fantasy and Latin American culture to Santa Teresa, at the Ruth de Souza Theater

The children's show "The Adventures of Quitapena" opens at Teatro Ruth de Souza in Santa Teresa, every Saturday and Sunday in September 2026, at 11am. Inspired by the indigenous oral tradition of Quitapena dolls, the play mixes animation theater, shadow theater and music to take children on an adventure through different countries in Latin America. With approximately 45 minutes in duration, the show addresses feelings, imagination and memory in a playful and poetic way. GLOBO subscribers get 50% off on up to 2 tickets.
