Crash on the A13 leaves four injured near Almeirim

A light vehicle incident on the A13 motorway, at kilometre 69, in the Muge area, in Salvaterra de Magos, caused four minor injuries on Thursday morning, August 27. The accident occurred in a curve area and the victims were assisted and transported to the District Hospital of Santarém. The rescue operations involved 19 operatives and eight vehicles from the Volunteer Firefighters of Salvaterra de Magos, Benavente and Samora Correia, as well as the GNR, with traffic being controlled during the work.
A driver who was a victim of a violent robbery in Lisbon on Tuesday guarantees he was not responsible for the death of the attacker, stating he acted in self-defense when he had a firearm pointed at his head.
