Bolt's electric scooter and bicycle service will end in September in Vila Real, after the company decided to close the service as it no longer has an operator to ensure the maintenance and relocation of the equipment. The city council of Vila Real informed about this decision today.

IHRU opens competitions for 77 affordable rental homes in 19 municipalities

The Instituto da Habitação e da Reabilitação Urbana (IHRU) has opened nine draw competitions for the allocation of 77 affordable rental housing units, under the Housing Rental Support Program (PAA). Applications run until September 17, 2026 and cover housing types from T0 to T6, distributed across 19 municipalities, including Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro, Beja, Évora, Setúbal, among others. Interested parties must first obtain the Application Registration Certificate on the PAA Platform and then submit their application through the IHRU Arrenda Platform.
