European Union: Chinese small orders drop 30% to 40%

The European Union began applying, since July 1st, a customs duty of 3 euros on small packages coming from outside the bloc, covering shipments valued under 150 euros. The measure has already shown significant results, with imports, mainly from China, registering a drop between 30% and 40%.

Fosun more than doubles profit to 217 million in the first half

Fosun, the shareholder of Fidelidade and BCP, more than doubled its profit in the first half of 2024, totaling 217 million euros (1.7 billion yuan), an increase of 160.3% compared to the same period last year.
