Graphene factory in Vila Viçosa may be linked to technology that can reduce drone detection on radars

The company Plasmaphene plans to install a graphene factory in the Vila Viçosa Industrial Park, in an investment of approximately 7.5 million euros, which aims to industrialize technology developed at Instituto Superior Técnico. This technological platform is also being used to create graphene-based materials designed to absorb electromagnetic radiation, an innovation with the potential to reduce radar detection of drones.
