Jornal de Negócios27 August 2026 at 09:00
The National Securities Market Commission (CMVM) approved amendments to the regulation of public takeover bids, tightening the rules for voluntary takeover bids. From now on, for an offeror to launch a mandatory takeover bid within three months following a voluntary takeover bid, it is necessary to have reached 90% of both voting rights and share capital, thus equalizing the two thresholds that could previously be different.
