More than 170 people died and around 1,300 are missing after devastating floods on the border between Nepal and Tibet in China. Rescue teams continued their efforts on Thursday to find the missing, including hundreds of foreign tourists, one day after the catastrophe that hit the region.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM on Tuesday on a nightlife street, leaving 16 injured, two in serious condition, including two GNR military officers. GNR rescues weakened bird of prey
