Group specialized in theft and slaughter of cattle for clandestine meat trade is target of operation in southern Espírito Santo

The Civil Police of Espírito Santo carried out an operation on Wednesday morning (26th) against a group suspected of theft and clandestine slaughter of cattle in the south of the state, aimed at combating the illegal meat trade. Five search warrants were executed at addresses in the cities of Marataízes and Itapemirim. During the investigations, products were found that underwent inspections related to storage conditions, origin, and commercialization, with technical support from the Health Surveillance agencies of the municipalities and the Police Delegation of Presidente Kennedy, which led the investigations.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM on Tuesday on a nightlife street, leaving 16 injured, two in serious condition, including two GNR military officers. GNR rescues weakened bird of prey

The Republican National Guard collected a weakened bird of prey that was found by a citizen in the industrial area of Gouveia.
