Foreign couple found dead by teenage children in jacuzzi in Spain; police investigate

A couple of foreigners was found dead by their own teenage children inside a hot tub in a luxury condominium in the city of Cullera, in Spain. The Civil Guard is investigating the case, initially considering the hypothesis of violent deaths, but also working with the possibility of them being accidental. The bodies, discovered naked in the jacuzzi, showed no external signs of violence, although injuries compatible with puncture wounds were identified. The autopsy was performed at the Legal Medical Institute of Valencia and overdose from drug use remains one of the hypotheses not ruled out by the authorities.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation. The incident occurred around 3:00 AM on Tuesday on a nightlife street, leaving 16 injured, two in serious condition, including two GNR military officers. The driver, who was on vacation in the city, was arrested after fleeing from authorities and had an alcohol level of 1.29 g/l, having been charged with the crimes of aggravated assault, driving under the influence of alcohol, and dangerous driving.
