Glória Elevator: only four of the 16 compensation processes for the fatal accident victims have been concluded so far

A week before the first anniversary of the Elevador da Glória accident in Lisbon, insurer Fidelidade revealed that it has only reached agreements with the families of four of the 16 fatal victims. The 24 injured from the derailment continue to receive medical treatment.

Driver of hit-and-run in Albufeira remanded in custody

The 35-year-old driver who ran over 16 people in the Oura area, in Albufeira, was placed in preventive detention after judicial interrogation. GNR rescues weakened bird of prey
