Carris guarantees that it has implemented organizational changes in the Lisbon tram teams, including the creation of a new "elevator and lift core", but recognizes that external maintenance continues to be necessary. The company launched a page on the internet dedicated to the city's elevators that are currently out of service. Almost a year after the derailment of the Glória elevator, which resulted in fatalities, the intention remains to inaugurated a memorial in honor of the victims next month.

A mudslide hit on Wednesday, the 26th, the border region between Nepal and Tibet, leaving people missing. The landslide, which reportedly originated from the Nepali side, left a layer of mud that in some points reaches up to 2 meters in depth.
