The rapporteur of the PEC that ends the 6x1 work schedule in Brazil, senator Omar Aziz (PSD-AM), said he expects the Senate to vote on the proposal next week, both in the Constitution and Justice Committee and on the floor. Aziz warned that rejecting the matter would be political "suicide" for any candidate, emphasizing that all Brazilian workers are awaiting this change. The text was discussed at a meeting with President Lula and the presidents of the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies.
