extra26 August 2026 at 20:13
The Gennius group, responsible for the Habib's, Ragazzo, and Tendall Grill chains, filed for judicial reorganization at the Court of Justice of São Paulo, with declared debts of R$ 265.2 million, although banking debt exceeds R$ 300 million. The request was granted by Judge Jomar Juarez Amorim, from the 1st Bankruptcy and Judicial Reorganization Court, after the fast-food chain had already obtained protection against creditor collection in July. In a statement, the group reported that operations continue to function normally while seeking financial restructuring to preserve the business in the long term.
