Grounded ship blocks only port on Príncipe island, food supplies beginning to run short

A ship ran aground and blocked the only port on the island of Príncipe, in São Tomé and Príncipe, triggering the beginning of a shortage of food goods. The merchant and former deputy António Barros took advantage of the situation to reinforce the appeal for the rehabilitation of Porto do Príncipe, an infrastructure that dates back to the colonial period and which proves insufficient for the island's current needs.
