Planning reduces costs in corporate travel
oglobo26 August 2026 at 17:27
Last-minute airfare purchases continue to be one of the main factors pressuring the budgets of companies that invest in corporate travel in Brazil. Data from ANAC shows that the average real airfare increased 0.3% in June 2026 compared to May, and 3.1% year-over-year, reinforcing the importance of advance planning to reduce costs. Although prices vary according to purchase advance notice, demand, and availability, advance booking remains a fundamental strategy for minimizing fare fluctuations. The scenario occurs at a time of expansion in Brazilian corporate tourism, as indicated by data from the Corporate Travel Survey conducted by FecomercioSP in partnership with ALAGEV.
