Porto Metro excavated the first tunnel of the Ruby Line between Campo Alegre and Casa da Música

Metro do Porto concluded today the excavation of the first tunnel of the future Rubi Line, with a total of 928 meters, between Casa da Música and Campo Alegre, in Porto. This is the first drilling completed on this new line of the Porto metro.

IHRU opens competitions for 77 affordable rental homes in 19 municipalities

The Instituto da Habitação e da Reabilitação Urbana (IHRU) has opened nine draw competitions for the allocation of 77 affordable rental housing units, under the Housing Rental Support Program (PAA). Applications run until September 17, 2026 and cover housing types from T0 to T6, distributed across 19 municipalities, including Lisbon, Porto, Aveiro, Beja, Évora, Setúbal, among others. Interested parties must first obtain the Application Registration Certificate on the PAA Platform and then submit their application through the IHRU Arrenda Platform.
