Actor Tim Curry, known for playing Dr. Frank-N-Furter in "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" and for roles in films like "It," died at age 80 at his home in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. Curry had been suffering from health problems for more than a decade. Police were called to the residence at 11:23 p.m. on Tuesday, but there is no suspicion of crime. Born in England, he began his career in Hollywood in the late 1960s, achieving greater recognition with the 1975 cult film, which became a cultural phenomenon in "midnight movies."
