Vieira Beach recovers from storm Kristin, but restaurants and bars still await support

Seven months after storm Kristin passed through Vieira de Leiria beach, in the municipality of Marinha Grande, the bathing area has recovered and is preparing for one of the mildest summers in recent years. However, many restaurants and bars continue to await the resolution of compensation claims against the state and insurance companies, which have not yet completed the payments of compensation for the damages caused by the storm.
