With 112kg less, Thaís Carla talks about the end of her marriage after 11 years: 'Going through infinite changes'

Influencer and dancer Thaís Carla revealed she is going through a phase of major changes after her divorce from Israel, her husband with whom she was married for 11 years and who is the father of her two daughters. Thaís, who lost 112kg, said the impasse in the relationship began due to professional disagreements, as she wanted to stay in São Paulo while he preferred to live in the countryside. She stated to Splash Uol portal that she felt lost during the process, describing the divorce as a sentimental separation, of friendship and also professional, but that the decision was the best for both.

From Central Park to Louis Vuitton, the Yayoi Kusama brand beyond the polka dots (1929-2026)

The Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama, known as the "Queen of Polka Dots," died at 97 in Tokyo. Born in 1929, she transformed the hallucinations she suffered since childhood into a prolific body of work spanning painting, sculpture, performance, literature, and poetry, becoming a key figure of psychedelia and one of the most important artists of the 20th century. After graduating in traditional Japanese painting in Kyoto, she emigrated to the United States in the 1950s, where she gained international recognition and influenced contemporaries such as Andy Warhol. In New York, she staged anti-war protests in Central Park and collaborated twice with Louis Vuitton, in 2012 and 2023. She returned to Japan in 1973 due to mental health issues, voluntarily committing herself to a psychiatric institution in 1990, from where she continued to create. She received numerous awards, including the Praemium Imperiale in 2006, and left a legacy that will be preserved by her company.

Miss Brasil Supranational 2026 loses title after announcing pregnancy

Lara Marina Soares Tosta, 19 years old, Miss Brasil Supranational 2026, lost her title after announcing she is pregnant. A native of Afonso Cláudio, in Espírito Santo, she won the national title in February, in Pernambuco, and later placed third in Miss Supranational 2026, held in Poland. The National Beauty Contest (CNB) had communicated the loss of the title without specifying the reasons, but hours later Lara Marina published a video confirming the pregnancy and thanked fans for their support.
