What this site is and is not
This is not an original news desk. We do not have reporters on the ground and we do not break stories. What we do is read the press, summarise what has been published, and say plainly whose reporting each summary is based on.
Every item names its source. Where a summary is based on a single publication, that publication is the one named.
Languages
The site is published in several languages. A summary is shown in a language only when a version in that language exists; it is not machine-translated into a language on the fly at the moment you open the page.
