The Funchal City Council is going to create three exclusive BUS lanes along the city's rivers, with the aim of making public transport faster and more regular. This measure constitutes the lead story in this Sunday's edition of DIÁRIO, August 30.

The municipality will proceed with the reorganization of public transport stops as part of this urban mobility improvement plan. There is also planned reinforcement of enforcement by the Public Security Police to ensure compliance with the new traffic rules.
