Nova University of Lisbon (UNL) and the University of Science and Technology of Macau (MUST) have expressed their intention to launch joint programs in the area of nanotechnology. The information was confirmed to the Portuguese news agency Lusafortez by scientist Elvira Fortunato. This collaboration between the two higher education institutions aims to establish academic and scientific partnerships in nanotechnology research.

New endemic lizard species discovered in Peru living at more than 4,000 meters altitude

A new lizard species, Liolaemus yawar, was discovered in the highlands of Puno, Peru, at more than 4,100 meters altitude.
