During the first seven months of 2026, obtaining a driver's license became a particularly difficult challenge in the province of Castellón. Data from the Directorate General of Traffic (DGT) reveals that practically one in every two candidates fails to pass the practical driving test.
Between January and July, 8,865 practical tests were carried out, of which 4,609 ended with a pass and 4,256 with a fail. In percentage terms, 52% of those examined obtained an "approved" classification, while 48% did not pass the test.
This high failure rate highlights the difficulties that aspiring drivers face in obtaining a license in the province of Castellón during this period.
