Forward Gonzalo Plata left Flamengo and headed to Russia this Saturday. The Brazilian club finalized the sale of the player to Dynamo Moscow for 12 million euros, approximately 72 million reais.
The player used his Instagram profile to say goodbye to the red-and-black fans. In the text, he remembered the achievements made during the period he wore Flamengo's jersey, stating that he made history together with the club.
Plata thanked his teammates, the coaching staff, and all the people who were part of his time at the club. He also highlighted the affection received from the Flamengo Nation since the first day, saying he carries with him memories that will last forever.
The Ecuadorian ended his message stating that it was an honor to defend Flamengo and using the club's famous phrase: "Once Flamengo, always Flamengo."
