One of Russia's deadliest attacks in recent months struck city near Kiev

One of Russia's deadliest attacks in recent months struck the city of Bucha, located in the Kiev region, in Ukraine. The attack caused 37 dead and left a significant toll of destruction in the area.

Fifty buildings were damaged during the Russian offensive against the city. The attack is described as one of the most lethal carried out by Russian forces in recent months against Ukrainian territory.

Bucha gained symbolic importance during the conflict, having been occupied by Russian forces at the beginning of the war. The city is located on the outskirts of the capital Kiev and has been affected by new attacks even after more than two years since the beginning of the Russian invasion.
