The UAE team issued on Saturday afternoon the medical report of Tadej Pogacar, in which it informed that the cyclist was stable, but with two important fractures. The Slovenian rider suffered a fracture in the left collarbone and another in a vertebra.
These injuries were the result of a serious fall during the eighth stage of the Vuelta a España. The accident forced Pogacar to abandon the competition, thus interrupting his participation in the race.
At the time of the fall, Tadej Pogacar was the leader of the Vuelta a España, which made the abandonment even more significant for the rider and for the team. The medical report confirmed his stable condition after the examinations performed.
