Arouca defeats Marítimo and jumps to third place

Arouca defeated Marítimo and climbed to third place in the standings, in a match where they managed to come back from a negative result.

Marítimo, the island team that had not yet lost in this competition, opened the scoring in the 27th minute, through Spaniard Martín Tejón.

The hosts of Arouca did not give up and managed to react, reversing the disadvantage to secure the victory.

With this result, Arouca reached third place, overtaking Marítimo in the standings.
