Woman, 45, dies after being hit by car during walk

Filipa Damião, 45, died this Saturday following a collision that occurred near the cemetery of Cebolais de Cima, in the municipality of Castelo Branco. The woman was taking a walk when she was struck by a light commercial vehicle. Despite rescue attempts, it was not possible to save the victim's life. Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the accident.
